Agreement Overview Ascent Ventures Group LLC ("we," "us," "our"), registered in Pennsylvania at 225 Sycamore St, #1195, Harrisburg, PA 17111, operates the website www.ascentventuresgroup.com and related services ("Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, stop using the Services immediately.
We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes means acceptance. Review periodically. Services are for users 18+ only.
1. Services Information is for general use and not tailored to regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA). Use from outside the U.S. is at your own risk and responsibility for local laws.
2. Intellectual Property We own or license all content, software, designs, trademarks, and marks ("Content" and "Marks"). You get a limited, revocable license for personal/non-commercial/internal business use only—access, view, and download/print portions you legitimately access. No copying, reproducing, distributing, selling, or commercial exploitation without our prior written permission.
Submissions/feedback you send us become our property—we can use them freely without compensation or credit. You warrant your submissions are original, non-infringing, and comply with our Prohibited Activities.
3. User Representations & Prohibited Activities You represent you're of legal age, not using bots/automation, and your use complies with law. No illegal, unauthorized, or harmful purposes.
Prohibited: data scraping, hacking/security interference, harassment, spamming, viruses/malware, impersonation, unauthorized framing/linking, reverse engineering, competing use, or any action that burdens/disrupts the Services. Violation may lead to immediate termination.
4. User Generated Content (if applicable) We do not currently allow user postings. If enabled later, you retain ownership but grant us license to use/store/process per Privacy Policy. You warrant contributions are legal, non-infringing, and not harmful/obscene.
5. Third-Party Links/Content Links to third-party sites/content are not endorsed. Access/use at your own risk—we're not responsible for their accuracy, privacy, or transactions.
6. Privacy See our Privacy Policy at https://ascentventuresgroup.com/privacy (incorporated here). Data processed in the U.S.; continued use consents to transfer/processing there.
7. Term, Termination & Modifications Terms apply while you use Services. We may suspend/terminate access anytime for any/no reason, without notice/liability. We may modify/suspend Services without obligation to update or support.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution Governed by Pennsylvania law (no conflict rules). Disputes resolved by binding arbitration under AAA rules in Dauphin County, PA (no class actions). Exceptions: IP enforcement, theft/privacy claims, injunctive relief (court only). One-year statute of limitations.
9. Disclaimers & Limitations Services "AS IS" — no warranties of accuracy, fitness, non-infringement. No liability for errors, viruses, interruptions, or third-party acts. Our total liability limited to $100 USD. No consequential/indirect damages. Some states limit exclusions—yours may apply.
10. Indemnification You indemnify us against claims/losses from your use, breach of Terms, IP violations, or harmful acts.
